Matthew is a self-made entrepreneur and industry connector with over 15 years of experience across surveying, reality capture, digital twins, BIM/VDC, drones, XR, robotics, and AI. Without a traditional education or formal business plan, he built his career through curiosity, relentless learning, and a willingness to take risks — growing his first business from a home office into a 7-figure company before it was acquired. Along the way, he has worked alongside some of the world’s most recognized organizations including ExxonMobil, Tesla, SpaceX, Microsoft, the U.S. Department of Defense, and hundreds of firms across the globe. Today, Matthew is focused on building the Reality Capture Network, a global community where innovative professionals can share knowledge, collaborate, and grow together across emerging technologies that are reshaping the built environment.
Matthew brings a powerful behind-the-scenes presence to Reese Connect, running post production for their events with the help of his amazing team at Reality Capture Network. As a strategic advisor to the company, he works closely with Bailey to help shape the direction and growth of Reese Connect, offering insights and expertise that go well beyond the camera. With Matthew handling the post production side and Bailey leading the charge as owner and event organizer, the two make a well-rounded team that ensures every Reese Connect event is not only a great experience in the moment but looks incredible long after it wraps.
